Frank Spotnitz, Millennium executive producer, and writer and showrunner for the hit show Hunted—airing on Cinemax (US) and BBC (UK)—has taken a quick moment out of his busy life to send a snap of his good self with his new good book!
For those who don’t know, Back to Frank Black: A Return to Chris Carter’s Millennium is the book of this very campaign, released last month via Fourth Horseman Press and available from good book retailers. (Here’s the link to the listing on Amazon.com for easy reference!) The book has a foreword by Frank himself, neatly nestled between a foreword by Lance Henriksen and an introduction by Chris Carter. The book is nearly 500 pages long, with interviews and essays covering virtually every facet of Millennium. It was recently reviewed by Starburst Magazine receiving a healthy 8/10 rating. All profits generated by the book will go straight to Children of the Night, a charity set up to get American children out of child prostitution—a very worthy cause.
We were thrilled Frank found the time to write a small piece for the book, and equally thrilled he’s proud enough to send us a photo of him holding a copy!
You can hear Frank speak about the book, Millennium, and—of course—his new show, Hunted, on our Millennium Group Sessions podcast.
We wish Frank all the best with Hunted, which seems to be doing very well. If you’ve not seen it, make sure you do. For me personally, it’s some of the best slices of quality television since… well… that other show… What’s it called? Millenny-thingy?
