Today, surprisingly – as I’m sure, nay I hope, you’ve not been keeping count – is the third birthday of Back to Frank Black! Yes, three years (so far) from today (pretty much) that the campaign was born!

There are some big things coming up in the next few months with any luck, so we thought we’d not over-play this event. To you people, I’m sure it feels like we’ve been around like, forever – you probably recollect the campaign helping you out of your diaper phase we’re that entrenched in your subconscious. The fact we’re 3, isn’t a big deal by and large – what is important is we’re still here. Still pushing. Together and bigger than before. Yes, like a human being we get bigger as we get older – and hopefully a little bit smarter too.
So to celebrate this occasion, I thought we’d do a small audio clip that you can choose to partake in the party. I’m joined with BTFB staff writer and consultant, Adam Chamberlain. It’s just a short, light hearted conversation on where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re heading!
Forgive my lose, casual demeanour - it is a day to let our hair down.
Happy Birthday BTFB – here’s to the future!
Finally, a shout out – never comfortable with these because you always miss someone important, and everyone is important – so I usually take the cowards way out and just not mention anyone whatsoever. However my dear colleague Troy would like to see me try and fail, rather than fail to try. Bless.
- and on behalf of Troy, myself, Adam and Brian, a thank you to all who have been involved so far. From the early days to the more recent times. Naturally a big thanks to the current team and regulars – Jason, Joselyn and Christina sprint to mind – but also to our regular contributors, those iconic names like MR Sellars, DIRT, John Muir, Joe Maddrey, Alison Nastasi, William Johnson, James Whittington and many more. Thanks to the fandoms/groups/sites we regularly associate with including X-Files News, Popcorn Monster and Zone Horror to name three. Thanks to Lance for taking us under his wing and the regular support from the cast and crew we’ve had – Klea, Brittany, Kristen, Glen, James Wong, James Morrison, Mark Snow, Tom Wright, Frank Spotnitz, Sarah Jane Redmond, Megan, Michael R Perry… and those many many people I’ve missed. If I’ve messed you, blame the 3am, rather than any rude disregard. Thank you all!
